Ordered card for Father’s Day, stated would arrive by the Saturday but didn’t arrive until the Thursday after. A shame as the card itself is lovely so ensure you order with a lot of notice.
Hi there Sofie,
I just wanted to reach out having read your review of the ‘Whiskey Father’s Day Card’. I am so sorry to hear that your card did not arrive with you in a timely manner. I have also sent you an email dated 1st July.
As you will be aware all our cards are hand made to order (there are only two of us in the business) and ordinarily we will take 1-2 working days to process an order prior to dispatch - this is detailed on all our listings. In the case of your order it was received on 17/06/2020 at 6.36pm and it was dispatched by ourselves using First Class Postage on 18/06/2020 at 12.41pm - less that 1 working day. Delivery times by First Class are currently estimated to take 1-4 working days and this is detailed on all product pages and within shipping notifications sent to all customers on dispatch of their orders by ourselves. As you will no doubt be aware there continue to be some localised delays within the postal services largely due to staff sickness levels and the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
With the above standard processing and delivery timings in mind I would have expected your card to have arrived with its recipient between 19th-24th June.
I am concerned that you could have been sent misinformation via email that has implied that that card would be with you at an earlier date and I am keen to address this. If you could please forward me the order notification and dispatch notification that was sent to your email address on the dates detailed above I would greatly appreciate this. It is important that we are providing the correct information to our customers regarding processing and delivery estimates.
As a (very) small business we hate to disappoint our customers. Should you wish to shop with us again in the future please feel free to use the discount code we have sent you via email.
We appreciate you supporting of our tiny business during these unusual times and thank you for taking the time to complete a review and to let us know about potential ongoing delays with our delivery partners.
